In October, Swiss Global has the privilege of sponsoring a unique concert event at Bellver Castle in Majorca, Spain, where a commissioned work by Advisory Board member
Barry Conyngham will be premiered by the
Orquestra Sinfònica de Balears "Ciutat de Palma". This new work was inspired by a stunningly beautiful bay on Majorca's northwest coast, namely "Cala Tuent". Geoffrey Simon will conduct, and Korean violinist
Hahn-Bin, a Swiss Global Young Artist, will be perform as soloist.

Louis Schwizgebel-Wang is scheduled to debut with the
London Philharmonic Orchestra next season. The Foundation enjoys a successful collaboration with the orchestra, and will fully underwrite the Swiss pianist's performance.
Planned for Sunday, 12 October 2008, the auspicious debut features Gershwin's
Piano Concerto.
Mr Schwizgebel-Wang came to the attention of Swiss Global after his triumph at the 2007
Young Concert Artists International Competition.
